the oil and gas, petrochemical, oil and chemical
terminals, and pharmaceutical industries in
Singapore and around the region.
The industries we serve are all showing strong
growth potential. In the oil and gas and
petrochemicals industry, many Middle Eastern
countries are embarking on projects which
produce higher valued derivatives and functional
products, similar to the development of highly
integrated complexes in Thailand and Singapore.
The oil and chemical terminal industry,
meanwhile, is experiencing buoyant growth due to
the rapid and sustained demand for oil products,
increasing volume of trading in oil products,
liberalization of the oil storage market and the
rise of Middle East as major exporters of oil
and chemical products to Asia. At the same time,
the pharmaceutical industry in Singapore is
attracting large and key pharmaceutical
companies and experiencing increase in
pharmaceutical manufacturing. We believe that we
